Mrs. E. Collett Funeral Slated Here Thursday.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday (today) in Maeser Second Ward Chapel for Mrs. Ethelwynne Stringham Collett, 85, who died early Monday at her home in Maeser of natural causes.

Friends may call at the Vernal Mortuary this morning prior to services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Collett was born July 25, 1876 in Salt Lake City, and Caroline Crouch Stringham. She was married to Sylvannus Collett, January 20, 1905 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 29, 1932. She was active in the LDS Churxh and was a pioneer of the Vernal area.

She is survived by two sons and daughters, Howard S., Whiterocks; Carl S., Mrs. Edna Raines, Maeser; Mrs. Edith c. Hatch, Farmington; two step-sons and one step-daughter, Mrs. Alice C. Snow, Jensen; Byron S. Collett, Duchesne; Orin Collett, San Demas, California; 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers and four sisters, B. H. Stringham, Vernal; William and Ray Stringham, Mrs. Grace C. Colton, Beatrice Stringham, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Susan Shaffer, Manti; Mrs. Zina Reid, St. George.
