Mrs. Julia M. McMichael, 72, R.R. 1, Carthage, died unexpectedly at her home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hampton Todd Funeral Home, Rushville, with burial in Blue River Wesleyan Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
Mrs. McMichael was a retired practical nurse and was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church, Carthage.
She was born Sept. 22, 1905, in Rush County, the daughter of Julius and Shirley (McDaniel) Gahimer. On Sept. 24, 1924, she was married to Elmer McMichael, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Elmer McMichael Jr., R.R. 6, Rushville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence Gahimer, Pendleton.
