Clarence Leon ‘Bun' Gahimer

Clarence Leon "Bun" Gahimer, 87, Pendleton, died Sunday at Hancock Memorial Hospital, Greenfield.

Mr. Gahimer was born July 11, 1911, in Manilla to Julius and Shirley (McDanial) Gahimer. He first married Virginia Gahimer, and she preceded him in death. He later married Alice M. (Redmon) Gahimer, and she survives.

He was a Madison County farmer.

Other survivors include two sons, Greg Bennett, Greenfield, and Tim Bennett, Fountaintown; a daughter, Brenda Guyer, Greenfield; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Erlewein Mortuary, Greenfield, with the Rev. Kimberland J. Hough officiating. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery, Pendleton.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
