Six, Evelyn Elizabeth, 97, long-time resident of Wichita, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 in Lawrence. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 24 at Downing-Lahey Mortuary East. Service 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, in the Ward Memorial Chapel at College Hill United Methodist Church. She was born Jan. 5, 1909 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Albert McNealy and Rachel Minerva "Minnie" (Orr) Fisher. She was a 1927 graduate of Douglass High School. Mrs. Six was a homemaker and an independent sales representative for several companies in Wichita. She was a long time member of the College Hill United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Circle. She married Dale Miller Six in 1932 and Johnny Soliz in 1986. They both have preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Arline Seely-Bensch of Lawrence; two granddaughters, Diana Seely Frederick of Lawrence and Doreen Seely-Francis of Topeka; one grandson, David G. Seely of Wichita; one step-daughter, Phyllis Ornelas of Denver, Colorado; one step-son, Tony Soliz of Wichita; two brothers, Thomas O. Fisher and William I. Fisher, both of Wichita; one sister, Mildred Koblitz of Wellington; six great grandchildren. One son, Daniel Thomas Six, preceded her in death. Memorials to: College Hill United Methodist Church Senior Adult Ministry or Heart of America Hospice of Lawrence.
