Micki Koblitz, of Wellington, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Sumner Regional Medical Center at the age of 97.

Micki was born the daughter of Albert and Rachel (Orr) Fisher on Tuesday, April 27, 1920 in Douglass.

On September 15, 1940, Micki and Olen B. Koblitz were united in marriage. Together they celebrated 25 years of marriage before his passing in 1965.

Survivors include her daughter, Jacquie Harris and her husband Phil of South Haven, grandchildren: Rebecca Harris of Wellington, Darren Harris of South Haven, Joshua Harris of Ellsworth, Kim (Koblitz) Crenshaw and her husband Dean of Belle Plaine, Michelle (Koblitz) Mies and her husband Joe of Derby and Terry Little of Salina; 17 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rachel Fisher; husband, Olen Koblitz; son, Jerry Koblitz; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services for Micki were held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in the chapel of Cornejo|Day Funeral Home, Wellington. Pastor Gary Terry will officiate. There will be no visitation. A private interment will take place at the Rose Hill Cemetery, South Haven.

A memorial fund has been established in her loving memory to the Wellington Food Bank. Contributions may be mailed or left with the funeral home.
