Verona was born October 21, 1915 in Vernal, Utah to David O. and Agnes O'Niel Jacobson.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held many callings. On April 18, 1934, she married Floyd H. Pease, Sr. On June 17, 1949, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple and with their three children were sealed for time and all eternity.

Verona was very talented with her hands and made thousands of angels and other crafts for family and friends. She had a very big heart.
