Noel Ray Jacobson, age 80, passed away on July 1, 2000 in a West Valley City Hospital.

Born May 3, 1920 in Vernal, Utah to David Olius and Agnes Ellen O'Neil Jacobson. Married Beatrice Andrea-son, later divorced. Married Ruth Skinner, later divorced. Mar-ried Ethel Mary VanCorler on Nov. 23, 1967.

He was a pilot and loved to fly. Served in the Navy during World War II. Member of the Confederate Air Force. He loved to garden and was an avid fisherman.

Survived by his wife and best friend, Ethel; children, Sharon (Ken) Sackett, Richard (Pam) Jacobson, stepchildren, Linda McQuillan, Vicki (John) Hill; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon (Gordy) Jacobson; sister, Verona J. Pease. Preceded in death by five sisters and excellent brothers.

Funeral services will be held Thurs., 1 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends may call Wed. from 6-8 p.m. and Thurs. one hour prior to service. Interment Sunset Gardens
