Funeral services for Arlan Kirkland, age 21, who died from injuries received when he was run over by a wood truck Monday afternoon, were held at Cypress Creek Cemetery Wednesday afternoon at four thirty o'clock, the Rev. John L. Dodge conducting the services.

Young Kirkland was injured Monday afternoon at Hodge and rushed to Ruston to the hospital for treatment, but so serious were the injuries that he died that night about nine o'clock.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Kirkland, two sisters, Misses Lee Oval and Hazel Kirkland of Gansville, and one brother, Goodrich Kirkland of Jonesboro.
