Born in Grasheim, Karlshuld bei Neuberg, Bavaria, daughter of Ignatz and Seraphina (Winnegger) Ebenhoch. Immigrated to the US 14 July 1875 on the Ship Frisia, landing at New York. She was the second of the three wives of Stephen Nock, and mother of George, Rose, Lillian, Minnie and Joseph. Sister of Jacob Ebenhoch, Grace Schieber, Mary Spreng and Frances Schratzenstaller. Cause of death: peritonitis following childbirth.

Her parents and siblings arrived in the U.S. in the year 1890, too late to see her again. After he remarried, her widower packed all four surviving children off to Akron to live with their relatives. Son George stayed with his grandparents, while Rose, Lillian and Minnie moved into the combined Schratzenstaller/Schieber household on East Crosier street.
