Longtime Kent resident Conrad M. Bloomquist died June 4, 1991, at his home in Kent. He was 77.
Mr. Bloomquist was born April 20, 1914, in Webster County, Iowa. He worked as a model maker for the Boeing Co. retiring after 22 years. Mr. Bloomquist was a member of the Kent United Methodist Church, Aerospace Mechanics Local No. 751, North Bend Masonic Lodge No. 119 A.F. & A.M., North Bend, Neb., Valley City Chapter No. 72 in Kent and the Good Sam Golden Campers Club. He served in Europe as a glider pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Bloomquist of Kent; two sons, Ronald G. Bloomquist of Elk, Calif. and Kenneth A. Bloomquist of Portland, Ore.; a daughter, Diane K. Morissette of Martinez, Calif; a brother Einar Bloomquist of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Viola Smithart of Dayton, Iowa; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Edline-Yahn Funeral Chapel in Kent. Interment will be at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent. Memorials may be made to the Group Health Hospice, 83 South King St., Suite 414, Seattle, 98014.
