Mr. Bloomquist was born Dec. 5, 1908, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was a carpenter and spent most of his life in Portland.
Surviving are his sons, Charles of Venice, Calif., and Curtis of Ottumwa, Iowa; daughters, Delores Hicks of Lincoln City and Stephanie of Portland; sister, Viola Smithart of Dayton, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
