Oren W. Davenport, 69, RFD 3, died Dec. 5, 1985, at Oakwood Villa following a long illness. Born Nov. 26, 1916 at Winfield, he married Nina M. Price Feb. 18, 1941 at Medora. She died May 11, 1972. He married Catherine J. McKee Sept. 9, 1973 at Hutchinson. She died May 16, 1983. He was the retired owner of Price Water Well Service and had been a Hutchinson resident since 1953.
He was a member of the Mitchell United Methodist Chapel and was a U.S. Army verteran of World War II.
Survivors: son, John, 3311 Sycamore; daughters Virginia Elliott, RFD3, Nina Kuettel, Aurona, Switzerland; sisters, Mildred Corwin, Sterling; Lola Bankey, Nickerson, three grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, the Rev. Burr Crickard. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliot Mortuary.
