Lola A. Davenport, 83, died Friday at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Lyons. Born Lola A. Garrison, Oct. 26, 1897, in Walnut, Kan., she was married to Leo Davenport Jan. 24, 1916, in Winfield. he died Oct. 14, 1970. She was a longtime resident of Hutchinson.
She was a member of the Reformed Church of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors: son, Oren, RFD 3; daughters, Mildred Corwin, Sterling, and Lola Marie Bankey, Nickerson; brothers, Homer Garrison, Wichita, and Ben Garrison, Eureka, Calif.; sisters, Jane Parsell, Chase; Ruth Graham, Nipoma, Calif.; 13 grandchildre, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday in the Johnson and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Fairlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday.
