William F. (Billy) McCloud, 34, formerly of Lincoln County, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 1995, in his home. He was born Sept. 7, 1960, in Troy, the son of William F. (Mac) and Darleen Crabtree McCloud.
He attended Sacred Heart and Lincoln County RIII schools and was the owner and operator of Jefferson County Auto Electric in Arnold. He married Connie Guenther, June 30, 1994, in St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his father, William F. (Mac) McCloud; his grandfather, Walter E. Crabtree; and one nephew, Darren J. Hammett. Survivors include his wife, Connie, Hartland, Mich.; a daughter, Patricia Charlene McCloud, Cahokia, Ill.; his mother, Darleen McCloud, Ozark; his grandmother, Leona Crabtree, Nixa; four sisters, Phyllis McCloud and Sharron Baumgartner, Ozark, Cheri Newberry and her husband Mike, Chesterfield, and Vicky Hitchcock and her husband Randy, Billings; many nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Jones-Chastain Cemetery, Nixa, Saturday, March 4, 1995. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edgewood Alumni Association, c/o St. John's Mercy Medical Center, 615 S. New Ballas Rd., Creve Coeur, MO 63141.
