Burial will be in Thornfield Cemetery. Mr. Taber died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in Oklahoma City after a long illness. He was a past worthy patron of Ava Eastern Star No. 47, a past worshipful master of Ava Masonic Lodge No. 26, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a former employee of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He was a member of Union Grove General Baptist Church.
