Miss Cleo Beatrice Reeser, 53, a lifetime resident of Farmer City died January 15, 1962 at her home south of town. Funeral services were held January 17 at the Stensel Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers were Kermit Hamblen, Elrey Baker, Wallace Baker, Bob Jones, Vernelle Nixon and Orville Freeland.

She was born August 20, 1908 at Farmer City, the d/o Walter and Eva Hall Reeser. Surviving are her parents, three sisters: Mrs. Juanita Patterson, Normal; Mrs. Mildred Ploense, Bloomington; Mrs. Hila Jean Morgan, Green Ridge MO; and one brother, Walter H. (Jack), Farmer City. One brother preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Farmer City Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Farmer City Hobby Club, the Farmer City Garden Club, and was a practical nurse.
