Mrs. Ploense was born September 14, 1912, in Farmer City, DeWit Co., Illinois, a daughter of Walter H. and Eva Hall Reeser. She married Eugene H. Ploense, October 18, 1935, in Bloomington, Illinois. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Marcia Grethey, one sister, Hilda Morgan, two grandchildren, Wendy Knaust and Lisa Grethey and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Ploense was employed by Dr. Morgan D. Sour D.O. in Bloomington for 37 years.
She was a member of the Farmer City United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Filicity Chapter 387, Normal and a past mother adviser for the Rainbow Girls of Bloomington.
