Lena M. Jobe, formerly of Capitan, New Mexico, passed away on February 24, 2009, in Keene, Texas. Lena was born May 28, 1919, in Strawn, Texas to Marion David and Mary Elizabeth Jennings. She moved to Claunch, New Mexico in 1949, and married Garvice T. Jobe on December 15, 1949. They moved to the Fort Stanton/Capitan area in 1963, where Lena later retired from the Fort Stanton Hospital and Training School.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Garvice; her parents; and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters, Sandy Moore and husband Bob of San Jose, CA, Sherry Jobe of Albuquerque, NM, and Sarah Norman of Alvarado, TX; grandchildren, Jamie Seda, David Moore, Amanda and Adam Norman; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Stevie, Jace, Sylar, Nolan and Aiden.

Mom was happiest when she was with family and in her flower garden. She was truly loved and will forever be in our hearts. May she once again walk with those she loved.

Lena will be laid to rest in Claunch, New Mexico.
