IN MEMORY OF MISS LORENA NEWTON

O, what a sad exclamation,
For her loved ones friends, and all
But God sent his beckoning Angel
And Lorena sweetly answered to the call.

Truly it is a sad, sad thought,
That in life we will see her no more
But we know that she is resting
But we know that she is resting
On the bright celestial shore.

God need this precious jewel
In that world of his so fair.
So He took her from her suffering
To that mansion bright and fair.

Tere is rejoicing among the Angels,
For lo we can hear them exclaim,
Another rosebud is implanted in Heaven
For earth's loss is our eternal gain.

Grieve not, fond parent,
for your darling daughter,
And sisters and brothers fro your devoted sister,
God is ferciful, submit to His will
For in Heaven you can meet one another.
