Barnesville, GA., June 3- Miss Anna Lucille newton, 50, died at her home in Barnesville this afternoon. She was a native of Pike Co., lived in Barnesville 27 years and had taught school at Hawkinsville, Meansville, Warm Springs, and Grovania.
She iss survived by four sisters, Mrs H T Parham, Mrs Nell Aiken, Miss Leora Estelle Newton, all of Barnesville; Mrs Emma Cauthern, of Goggans; two brothers, J L Newton, and W.S Newton, of Barnesville.
Funeral services were held at the Barnesville Baptist Church Thursday afternoon, Rev Harry Smith, pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev J P Ervin, of the Methodist Church. Interment was in the family lot at Greenwood Cemetery.
