JOHN GILLIOM DIES LATE LAST NIGHT
John V. Gilliom, 51, of Bluffton, route 4, died of a heart attack at 11:54 p.m. Thursday at the Clinic hospital in Bluffton.
A son or Orel and Elizabeth Gerber-Gilliom, he was born in Adams county, and was married to Hazel Meyer.
Mr. Gilliom, an employe of Franklin Electric Co. in Bluffton, was a member of the Apostolic Christian church.
Survivivng are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Gilliom of Bluffton; three sons, John, Richy and Allen, and a daughter, Nancy, all at home; four brothers, Bruce, Lois [sic[ and William Gilliom, all of Blufton, and Ralph Gilliom of Phoenix, Ariz., and six sisters, Mrs. Joel Shaefer, Mrs. Roy Haab and Mrs. Roger Isch, all of Bluffton, Mrs. Sterling Blocker of Bluffton route 3, Miss Aldula and Miss Nora Gilliom, both at home.
Funeral rites will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Apostolic Christian church, with Rev. John Yergler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Goodwin funeral home in Bluffton after 7 p.m. today until 12 noon Sunday, when the body will be removed to the church to lie in State until time of the services.
