CHESAPEAKE - William Charles "Billy" Sitterson, 59, of the 3000 block of Bunch Walnuts Road died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997.
Mr. Sitterson was born in Edenton, N.C., and was the son of the late Willie C. and Sabre Bass Sitterson.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Yvonne Sitterson; three daughters, Catherine Dumas, Cheryl Babb and JoAnn McCullar, all of Chesapeake; his son, Timothy Sitterson of Chesapeake; four stepdaughters, Alice L. Smith, Desiree K. Gibson, and Rosalie K. Ramos, all of Chesapeake, and Ingrin L. Kimsey of Virginia Beach; two stepsons, Guy H. Ramos and Clement Ramos III, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Marie Keeling of Pittsburgh, Marjorie Lawyer and Shirley Ripski, both of Virginia Beach; and 14 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Alice L. Feliciano.
