Lawrence Timm

ATTICA, Ind. -- Lawrence J. Timm, 83, 117 E. Sycamore St., Attica, died at 7 p.m. yesterday (Dec. 27, 1982) at Community Hospital in Williamsport.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Church, Attica. the Rev. Edward Matuszak will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery in Attica. Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home.

Mr. Timm was born April 4, 1899, in Michigan City, the son of August P. Timm and Anna Retzek Timm. He had lived in Attica for the past 56 years. He was a metal pattern maker and had retired from Harrison Steel Casting Co., Attica, with 40 years of service. He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Michigan City. On Oct. 3, 1922, in Michigan City, he married Celia Clara Spychalski, who died Nov. 4, 1976.

Surviving are three children, William Timm, Attica; Helen Schroeder, Champaign, Ill. ; and Mar Erb, Lafayette; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Timm, Michigan City.

Mr. Timm was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Eagles Lodge of Attica.
