He was born in Attica on September 16, 1927 to the late Lawrence J. and Cecelia C. Spychalski Timm. He married Beverly Jane Nehemiah in Attica on October 5, 1974. She preceded him in death on August 3, 1997. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen A. Schroeder.
He is survived by his sister, Mary T. Erb, West Lafayette; three nieces, Terry (Bruce) Brown, Vernon Hills, Illinois, Peggy (Frank) Kulze, Batavia, Illinois and Anna Marie (Tom) Cech, Champaign, Illinois; a nephew, Marty (Tammy) Schroeder, Mahomet, Illinois; nine great-nieces and nephews and four great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.
