Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Belle McKinney, 84, Lester, will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Oliver Tedder and the Rev. Dewey Acord.
Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McKinney died on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. in a Beckley Hospital after a long illness.
Born Nov. 10, 1889 in Odd, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Meadows.
Mrs. McKInney was a member of the Akers Missionary Baptist Church.
Her husband, Harrison Haze McKinney, died in June 1965.
Survivors include five sons, James Ralph, Haden, Aden, Emmitt F. and Roy, all of Lester; two daughters, Miss Martha McKinney, Lester, and Mrs. Ina White, Fort Worth, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Ellen McKinney and Mrs. Osie Hogan, both of Odd, Mrs. Josie Bolen, McArthur and Mrs. Nora Bolen, Fireco; eight half brothers and half sisters; 28 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
