Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather returned home to be with his Heavenly Father and his daughter that he loved so much on August 7, 1994, at the age of 82 at his home in Oakley, Utah of natural causes.

He was born April 29, 1912 in Charleston, Utah the son of William Jedeiah Casper and Mary Alvira Murdock. He married Beth Wilde on March 30, 1940 in Coalville, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 30, 1981. He spent a lifetime in the outdoors, which he loved so much. He was a sheep herder, rancher and timberman, retired from IML freight line.

Survived by wife, son, Gilbert Rex (Bert) of Roy; sister, Bessie Shafer, of Ogden; brothers, Dermont of Heber; Frank of Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Joyce Joan Rockhill; parents; one sister and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 1994 at 11 a.m. at the Kamas Utah Stake Center, Marion, Utah. Viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the church. Interment Oakley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oakley LDS Mission Fund. Funeral arrangements from Crandall Funeral Home.
