Graveside services for Sherman E. Knox will take place at 3 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Albert Beierle of Seventh Day Adventist Church will preside. Mr. Knox died Wednesday at Oroville Hospital. He was 92. Born in Lacygne, kansas on Aug 29, 1900, he had also been a member of the Lathers Union. Survivors include his wife, Odene of Oroville; sons. Living of Oregon House, living of Portola, Living of Brush Creek and living of Doyle; daughters living of Lake Tahoe and living of Orangevale; a brother, John of Oregon; a sister, living Hersburger of chic; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Earlene. Services are under the direction of Scheer Memorial Chapel.
