Mrs. Granger died Thursday, March 8, 2001 in a Lake Charles hospital.
She was a native of Wharton, Texas and had resided in the Nibletts Bluff area for 80 years. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 153.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.J. (Evelyn) Benoit and Mrs. Jeff (Pat) Allen, both of Vinton; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
