John Earnest Barnard never married. He died as a result of an automobile accident.
John Ernest Barnard, 61-year-old resident of White Hall, died Wednesday at 3 a.m. at the White Hall hospital, where he had been taken the previous day. He had been in an automobile accident in the north part of town last Saturday, but at the time had not appeared to be seriously injured. An inquest will be conducted by Coroner W. H. Wolfe this morning at the Dawdy Funeral Home. An electrician by trade, Mr. Barnard had lived here for the past 30 years at the home of his sister, Mrs. Edna Goodall. Surviving are a brother, Norman 0f White Hall and two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Lewis of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Goodall. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Dawdy Funeral home, with the Rev. Albert Monroe officiating. Burial will be in the Richwood cemetery east of Roodhouse.
