In 1920, Ingeborg is living with Albert & Lizze (Anderson) Johnson, and the Johnson's are living next door to Anna Anderson and family.

Probate records read as follows:
"Ingeborg Anderson died testate at Grand Forks Grand Forks County, State of North Dakota, on the 10th day of February, 1934, leaving property within the jurisdiction of this court."

Ingeborg's son, Leander & Jennie lived in Grand Forks, ND which explains why she was in North Dakota when she died.

Ingeborg Lie Anderson was born at Voss, Norway, on January 27, 1850. Both her parents died while she was still very young, and she together with one brother was raised at a foster home.

She was united in marriage to Peter Anderson in 1874. Two years later she came to America with her husband and one child. They first came to Chicago, but later moved to Lisbon, Illinois, where they lived three years.In the spring of 1880, together with some relatives and friends, they came to South Dakota and homesteaded in the North Preston community. Here she lived and labored for more than fifty years.She raised a family of seven children and also provided a home for Sarah Nelson, a foster daughter.

Her husband passed away in January 1912, and four of her children preceded her in death.Through her long life, Mrs. Anderson was an ardent and faithful worker both in the home and in the church. Ingeborg was a charter member of the Zion Aid. This Aid joined with the North Preston Aid in 1894. Mrs. Anderson served four years as treasurer, one year as vice president, and one year as secretary of the North Preston Aid.

She also taught Sunday school for many years.Mrs. Anderson was a practical nurse, and folks will long remember her patient, unselfish service in ministering to the sick and needy during the early pioneer days. Mrs. Anderson loved the work of God and studied the Scripture diligently. Through her kind personality, her unselfish service and her cheerful piety, she exercised a blessed influence in the church and community.After a lingering illness of several months, she passed away at her son’s home in Grand Forks, N. D., on Feb. 10, 1934, having reached the age of 84 years. Funeral services were held Wed.
