COOKEVILLE John Oliver "Doc" Leftwich, 75, retired farmer, died Wednesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Fuqua, Rt. 5. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Hooper Huddleston Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Brown, pastor of the West View Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to Mrs. Fuqua, he is survived by 2 other daughters, Mrs. Alfred Bush, Baxter and Miss Linda Leftwich, Cookeville; 3 sons, John Denton Leftwich, Clyde Leftwich, Lebanon, and Wm. C. Leftwich, Detroit; 3 stepchildren, Beecher Bilbrey, Rt. 6, Mrs. Charles Willeford, West Jefferson, OH, and J. B. Moss, Waynesfield, OH; a brother, Bill Leftwich, Buffalo Valley; 3 sisters, Mrs. Julius Carr, Baxter, Mrs. Willie Cooper, and Mrs. Jim Moss, Rt. 3.
