Mrs. Gwen M. (Doe) McCullough, 85, died Friday, February 13, 2009, at St. Dominic's Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 15, 2009, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko, MS at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. today at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on High St. in Jackson and after 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Kosciusko. Interment will follow the service in Tabernacle Cemetery in Ethel.
Born in Ethel, Mrs. McCullough had made her home in Jackson for 53 years. She was typist for the Clarion Ledger for ten years and she worked as a Secretary at Manhattan Academy. She was a member of Briarwood United Methodist Church where she sang in choir and was Church Historian.
Survivors include her son, Mark L. McCullough of Flowood; her grandson, Christopher L. McCullough of Horn Lake; brother, Ralph Rone of Ethel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob L. McCullough in 2005.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and she will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Briarwood United Methodist Church, 320 Briarwood Drive, Jackson, MS 39206.
