Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in the Oak Ridge community. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Legg died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born May 26, 1922, in Morgan County to George B. Legg Sr and Elizabeth McDougal Legg. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Flint Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Legg; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Paul B. Moquin of Decatur; one sister, Mava Mayfield of Decatur; one granddaughter, Cynthia Long of Harvest; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Blake Long, both of Harvest.
