Funeral services were held on Tuesday for G.B. Legg, 74, Hartselle Route 2 resident, who died Sunday.
Services were conducted at the Oak Ridge Methodist Church, Rev. John Pharis and Rev. W.R. Sessions officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery, Peck directing.
Surviving are; the widow, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Legg; four daughters, Mrs. G.W. Sparkman, Mrs. E.E. Story, Hartselle 2, Mrs. John Moore, Hartselle and Mrs. A.B. Mayfield, Decatur 3; four brothers, Nolan Legg, Hartford, Ark, Willie Legg, Mossville, Miss., Orlie Legg, Hattiesburg, Miss., and Otto Legg, Detroit, Mich; one sister, Mrs. Annie Greg, Jackson, Miss.; four sons, Talmadge, Arlow and Earl Legg, Hartselle 2; Junior Legg, Louisville, Ky; 37 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Legg was a member of the Oak Ridge Methodist Church.
