Funeral for Jack Herbert, 80, of Hartselle will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendall Callahan officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Herbert died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at his home. He was born Nov. 24, 1922, in Morgan County to Clinton Herbert and Lillian Means Herbert. He was a farmer and bridge tender. He attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church and was a World War II Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marvolene Herbert; two sons, Scott Herbert of Pittsburgh, Pa and Kenny Herbert of Hartselle; one daughter, Janet Erwin of Stillwater, Okla; two brothers, Bobby Herbert and Tommy Herbert, both of Hartselle; three sisters, Francis O'Brien of Chicago, Willie Cash of Ellsinore, Mo, and Lillian Ann Williams of Hartselle; five grandchildren, Jack Herbert, Luke Herbert, Trey Erwin, Trent Erwin and Brittany Herbert.
Pallbearers will be DeWayne Herbert, Richard Herbert, Stephen Herbert, Jack Herbert, Luke Herbert and Brittany Herbert.
