A. Y. TRYDLE (sic Tridle) DEAD

Old Resident Passed Away at Mt. Carmel Hospital Monday
Evening.

Aaron Yinger Tridle, who had been a resident of McCune and vicinity since 1875, passed away at the Mt. Carmel hospital in Pittsburg Monday evening at 6:30, after an illness of several months of time had been spent in Mt. Carmel hospital following the amputation of one foot which was affected with dry gangrene.
The funeral services were held from the home in this city Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. H.I. Dolson, and the remains were buried in the McCune cemetery. A large crowd of sorrowing friends attended the services.
Mr. Trydle was born in Miami county Ohio June 4, 1853, born to John and Harriet Yinger Tridle, being 69 years, 1 month and 27 days of age at the time of his death.
He was united in marriage to Cleora Ellenor Edgecomb, daughter of Robert and Elsa Lewis Edgecomb, June 22, 1873, and had Mr. Trydle been spared another year he and Mrs. Trydle would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
To this union five children were born, one having died in infancy. The living children are: John of McCune, Mrs. Harriett (William) Turney of Pomona California, Grove of Pittsburg and Mrs. Anna (Fred) Gorman of Muskogee, Okla.
Mr. Trydle moved to Kansas in 1875, and located on a farm northeast of where McCune now stands, and in 1894 he moved to McCune, and this city has since been his home. He served the city of McCune as city marshal for a number of years.
Besides many friends he leaves to mourn his departure his wife, two sons and two daughters, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild, also one brother, El Nathan Trydle of northeast of McCune, and three sisters who live in Ohio.o
