Mrs. Harriett Turney, of 720 Wisconsin street, passed away at 9:15 o'clock this morning at Pomona Valley Community hospital after a two-month's illness.

Mrs. Turney was born September 14,1875, in Decatur, Ill., and came to California 20 years ago from McCune, Kan. She has resided in Pomona since that time. She was married to William Turney February 11, 1894, in McCune, Kan., and they both joined the Free Will Baptist Church in 1897. She held the office of treasurer in the Royal Neighbors lodge of Pomona.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one duaghter, Ethel G. McGinnis of Santa Paula; two brothers, John Tridle, McCune Kan., and Grover Tridle, Pittsburg, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Annie Gorman, McCune, Kan.; and two granddaughters, Mary Jean McGinnis and Betty Lou McGInnis, both of Santa Paula.

Funeral services will be held in Todd & Reeves chapel at 10 o'clock Monday morning. The Rev. Frank M. Kepner will officiate. Entombment will be made in Pomona mausoleum. The Royal Neighbors will meet in a body at the chapel and will have their ritual at the grave.
