Mrs. Ella M. Chase
Herkimer - The death of Mrs. Ella M. chase, 79, mother of Lee J. chase, Herkimer, occurred September 29, 1936, at the home of her son, Earl Chase, Middlefield, otsego County, following an illness of two months.
She was born in middlefield, Feb. 20, 1857, the daughter of the late John G. and Emma Campbell Fowler. her marriage to the late James M. Chase took place in 1879 in Middlefield, where she has since resided. She was a member of the Cooperstown Baptist church. mr. Chase died in 1911.
She leaves three sons, Earl Chase, Middlefield; Charles Chase, Old Forge, and Lee J. chase, Herkimer; one daughter, mrs. Lawrence Sperry, Cooperstown.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the home of her son, Earl chase, Middlefield. The Rev. mr. _______, pastor of the Cooperstown Baptist Church will officiate
