BORGER - Violet Ruth Garland, 81, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Westlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Lenny McCay, pastor of Paramount Terrace Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Hope in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Garland was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Eureka, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dean, on Sept. 11, 2005.
Survivors include a son, Terry Garland and his wife, Terry, of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
