Thalmann - Daniel "Junebug" Edward Anderson, Jr., 85, of Thalmann died Monday evening (November 25, 2013) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Waverly, GA his parents were Daniel Edward and Nora Belle Strickland Anderson, Sr.
Daniel was a logger for Howe Logging and of the Baptist faith. He also loved fishing, the outdoors and doing yard work.

Survivors included a brother, Jimmie Anderson of Hortense; a sister, Mamie Strickland of White Oak; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Friday evening (November 29, 2013) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning (November 30, 2013) at 11AM at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery with Rev. Clayton Edgy officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jody Harris, Robert Anderson, Davis Strickland, Robert Strickland, Anthony Strickland, and Carl Strickland.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
