Ms. Ethel Clark McLain, 84, of Stateline, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Greene Rural Nursing Home. She was a very family oriented person, who took care of her family. She was a homemaker and loved to cook, not only for her family, but for anyone who came by. Ms. Ethel was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer McLain; son, Homer Gene McLain; parents, Coley and Hattie Clark; sister, Raebelle McLain; brother, Birl Clark.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Vera), Ronnie (Pauline), James (Joyce), and Steve (Freida) McLain; daughters, Teresa (Daryl) Clemmons and Carla “Dolly” (Richard) Moss; brothers, Coley Clark, Jr. and Huey P. (Vonita) Clark; sisters, Barbra (Irvin) Farmer and Vermelle Walley; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A wake will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 6-9 pm at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2 pm Freeman Funeral Home with Bro.
