Mrs Erna Raebelle McLain, age, 85, a native of Greene County, MS and resident of Richton, MS, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Perry Regional Hospital in Richton. Mrs. McLain was a retired cook for Headstart, Friends of Children, Sand Hill, MS and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Sand Hill, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coley P. and Hattie Clark, husband, Preal McLain and grandson, Jared Lyle Brewer. She is survived by her one son, Cowan (Marsha) McLain of Richton, MS, two daughters, Reba (Nathaniel) Brewer, also of Richton, and Janice (Kevin) Anderson of, Cumming, GA, brothers, Coley Clark of, State Line, MS, Birl Clark, also of State Line, Huey Paul Clark, of Leakesville, MS, sisters, Vermell Walley of Leakesville, MS, Ethel McLain and Barbara Farmer, both of State Line, MS, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. A wake will be held from 6-9 pm Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 with a one hour lie in state prior to service, with President Boyd Atterberry presiding.
