He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sandhill and was the owner of Birl Clark Grocery for 12 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and father-in-law. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Coley Clark Sr.; mother, Hattie Pope Clark; and sister, Rae Belle McLain.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Marie Clark; son, Phillip (Carrol) Clark; daughter, Lynetta (Doyle) Crager; son, Elton (Cynthia) Clark, all of State Line; and daughter, Sandra (David) West of Leakesville; brothers, Coley Clark Jr. and Huey Paul (Vonita) Clark; sisters, Vermelle Walley, Ethel McLain, and Barbara (Irvin) Farmer; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
