Mrs. Anna Davenport, wife of G. E. Davenport, died at the family home east of town Thursday, June 9th, and was buried in the cemetery south of town Saturday. Brights disease was the cause of her death. Mrs. Davenport was 59 years old and the mother of a family of six boys and three girls, all of whom were at home when she died. She was a very estimable lady. The funeral services were conducted by a minister of her church, Free Methodist, from Oklahoma City.
