Mrs. Victoria Moran Roeder Dead

On Saturday afternoon last; Mrs. Victoria Moran Roeder, wife of Mr. Wm. A. Roeder, died at her home in this town. All hopes for her recovery were abandoned about a month ago when an x-ray examination at Providence Hospital, Washington, confirmed the diagnosis of her local physician that she was suffering from cancer of the stomach.

From that time, and even before then, she was a great sufferer, but she bore her suffering with that same quiet, resigned disposition which she possessed always.

Mrs. Roeder was a very home-loving woman, being seldom seen anywhere else and she was rewarded with the knowledge of having raised a large family of children who are loved and respected by all.

The funeral was held Tuesday from St. Mary's Catholic Church, and the interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Father di Paoli, officiated and Mr. Smith Armstrong was funeral director.

We extend our sympathy to the family in their great sorrow which they have been bearing for the past month.
