"A graveside service for Pearl G. Backlund, 63, Shelton, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Shelton Memorial Park. The Rev. Kenneth Robinson will officiate. Mrs. Backlund died Saturday in Shelton.
She was born Oct. 23, 1919, in Mora, Minn. She lived in Minnesota for a number of years before moving to Shelton 40 years ago. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Ladies of the Moose.
She is survived by her husband, Earl K. of the family home; three sons, Orville, Roland and Robert, all of Shelton; three sisters, Bonnie O'Brian, Bernice Babb and Adeline Backlund, all of Minnesota; and four brothers, Clarence, Normal, Gilbert and Richard, all of Minnesota."
