Mr. Blessing passed away at his home yesterday morning at 11:45 after an illness of one year, due to a complication of ailments. He was born Oct. 13, 1860, in Coolspring township, the son of George and Dorethea Blessing. His marriage to Ida Rotzien took p;ace at Beatty's Corner on Nov. 9, 1887.
Surviving besides the widow are two daughters, Mrs. H. D. Farquhar of this city and Mrs. J. W. Flood of Mishawaka, Ind.; three sons, A. C. Blessing of LaPorte and Lee and Milton Blessing, who live at home. A brother, George Blessing of this city, also survives.
Herman Snyder, Chauncey Frame, Albert Zahrn, Ernest Rotzien and William Kriessel will act as pallbearers. Friends may call at the residence Saturday afternoon, evening and Sunday until the hour of the funeral.
