Green River, Wyoming- A family memorial service will be conducted in Idaho for Clyde Baird Kofoed, 75. He died April 29, 2004, at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A Resident of Green River for the past three years, he had been ill for the past six months.
Born Dec. 23 1928, in Weston, Idaho, he was the son of Clarence Henry Kofoed and Grace Amelia Baird. He attended schools in Idaho.
On March 31, 1961, he married Lorraine Snelling in Casper, Wyoming.
He had been employed by U.S. West for 34 years and retired as a Main Office Technician on Sept. 9, 1991.
His interests included fishing, camping, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include two sons, two brothers, one sister, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, and four sisters.
