DECATUR - Mary Deen Lambert, a retired catalog supervisor for Montgomery Ward Co., died Thursday in a Fort Worth car accident. She was 65.
Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells.
Mrs. Lambert was born in Windom and had lived in Decatur for 12 years. She had also lived in Fort Worth for 17 years.
Mrs. Lambert had worked for Montgomery Ward for more than 20 years before her retirement. She was a Baptist.
Her husband, L.E. Lambert, died in November 1991. She was also the widow of J.E. Lawhon, who died in August 1974.
Survivors: Two sons, David Lawhon of Yoakum and James Lawhon of Atoka, Tenn.; brother, Louis Franklin of Whitewright; five sisters, Jewell Garner and Georgia Carter, both of Fort Worth, Mattie McBroom and Thelma McBroom, both of Bells, and Jessie Williams of Whitewright; and eight grandchildren.
