HURST -- Annie Jewel Garner, 88, passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, in North Richland Hills.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Annie Jewel Garner was born Aug. 23, 1915, in Windom to Jess and Amy Franklin. She was a longtime member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, A. F. "Drew" Garner.

Survivors: Son, Jimmie Garner and wife, Mabel of Burleson; daughter, Wilma Carnes of Hurst; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Louis Franklin of Whitewright; sisters, Jessie Williams and Mattie McBroom of Whitewright, Thelma McBroom of Bells and Georgia Carter of North Richland Hills.
